My journey with Youth Unlimited officially begins and so does my blog. A journey often has an unexpected element, I’m heading in a direction and want to hear what I am supposed to do. My goal is heavenward and I push forward.

 My first day was on Monday and I wanted to find a place to connect with teenagers so I headed over to the adult education and training centre. The only thing I really knew was that teens hang out there and it’s in my neighbourhood. I first talked with a teacher whom I knew and before long I met the administrator. I shared that I want to connect with teenagers and asked if I could serve the school in some capacity. Almost speechless, she was intrigued to find out more about this guy standing before her.

 It turns out her son came to the youth group where I was the youth director. I thought as I walked away that God is in control and led me as I stepped out in courage.
